Co Founder and Executive Director

Samras leads the strategic initiatives and projects of the group-wide organization of Westford Education Group. In addition to the group role, Samras spearheads and leads the entire business with P&L responsibility for Exeed College, Exeed Global Varsity – EGX and Taito Education, independent SBU’s of the group. Vested with the responsibility to steer the project initiatives and strategic investments of the group for its business expansions and cross border transactions.

Samras leads the initiatives of setting up new SBU’s with P&L responsibility and managing the delivery channels, marketing and business development – branding, advertising, marketing research, product and customer support services and institutional business.

Samras focuses on sustaining and growing the existing partnerships as well as developing new associations and affiliations with external partners and plays an instrumental role in the corporate affairs and public relations of the group wide organization.

Samras is an edupreneur with more than 22 years of experience in the BFSI and Education industry combined. He holds an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University – UK and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from University of Wales – UK , Leadership and Management Development program from UCLA extension, USA.

Hanil Das

Co Founder and Executive Director

Mr. Hanil Das is the Co-Founder and the Executive Director of Westford Education Group. Hanil spearheads the Strategies, operations, marketing, and business development and manages the end-to- end functionalities of Westford University College, Westford Uni Online and Westford International College. Hanil directs, coordinates and administers the entire aspect of all the programs including planning, organizing, scheduling, staffing and implementation. Hanil is a passionate edupreneur who has been in the higher education industry for over 11 years.

He has more than a decade of experience at the senior managerial level in the banking industry. Hanil is a Commerce graduate, has an MBA from Bangalore University, Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Management from RVIM, Bangalore. He also holds a Pearson Level 7 program in Strategic Management and a Leadership & Management Development Program from UCLA Extension, USA.

Hanil initiated the We Cares, We Talk and We Connect programs at Westford to connect Westfordians with the industry, the corporate world and the community. We Cares, the signature CSR initiative of Westford University College, encourages students and staff to engage in philanthropic and volunteering endeavours. This initiative was acknowledged and awarded by Forbes Middle East with the ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ in the Higher Education Awards, 2019.

Mashrook Ali

Co Founder and Executive Director

Mashrook is entrusted with the responsibility of Eaton Business School and to expand the outreach to new territories internationally, with a special focus on MENA region. Online learning being paramount in today’s world, Mashrook has been instrumental in launching our online learning platforms in the African, GCC and Levant region where our programs are delivered through partnerships. Mashrook has more than a decade of experience in the banking industry having worked with Emirates NBD in a senior managerial capacity. Mashrook is a Business Management graduate from Mangalore University, India and was a student of Executive MBA from the prestigious S.P Jain Management Institute, Dubai.

Anil Ahluwalia

Academic Director

Anil Ahluwalia has had more than 30 years of experience as a trainer. He is a Master Trainer and acclaimed as an outstanding leader in the domain of Academic, Corporate, HR and Business Management Training Services. He commanded a large organization, and was involved in extensive training while serving in the Indian Army. He was also deputed by the Indian Government to train the Botswana Defence Force. Anil is presently spearheading conduct of all training courses for Westford Education Group in UAE, India, and other regions, as the Group Academic Director. He has also conducted training courses from graduate to post graduate levels, including workshops and seminars for varied nationalities in diverse job industries.

He is also a qualified experiential learning trainer. His highly motivating seminars and workshops are well known for their high-quality content backed by his inimitable and engaging style of delivery. His energizing sessions are insightful and stimulate participants to unleash their innate energies, fulfill their potential and create an intense desire for success and personal excellence.

Anil Ahluwalia is an alumni of the prestigious St. Stephen’s College, Delhi; National Defence Academy, Pune; and also an MBA graduate from the Symbiosis University in India. Having worked in India, Botswana (Southern Africa), Oman and UAE, Anil has been a driving force behind our continual improvement philosophy, with intense focus towards improvement of people commitment and behaviour.

He takes immense pride in dealing with the most important resource, the human resource and believes that people sometimes limit their own progress by building barriers with self-defeating prophecies and he enjoys assisting people to successfully overcome them.

Dr. William Painter

Dean

William is responsible for management programs including MBA, Executive MBA, and PG Diploma that come under the WEG group. He would be supporting the senior management to developing the international strategy, and in particular, issues relating to the internationalization process, international alliances, and international marketing, and also advise the management on product development, curriculum design and academic quality standards. He has been active in international private and public post-secondary and higher education since 1988. He has worked with leading Business schools such as Groupe Ecole Superieure de Commerce, NCC Education, Laureate Online Education as the International Director and late assumed the role of Chief Academic Officer for the University of Liverpool/Laureate partnership.
